DMCA Policy
Welcome to granny4.app DMCA policy. We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. We take copyright seriously and respond quickly to valid notices. Our goal is to protect content creators while providing helpful information to our users.
What This Policy Covers
This DMCA policy applies to all content on granny4.app. We follow United States copyright law and international agreements regarding intellectual property protection. If you believe your copyrighted work appears on our website without permission, this policy explains exactly what to do.
How We Handle Copyright Claims
When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we act quickly. We review the claim within 24-48 hours and remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content if the claim is legitimate. After taking action, we notify the person who posted the content. If we remove content based on a DMCA claim, we document the action and keep records as required by law. We take copyright violations seriously and repeated violations may result in permanent restrictions.
Filing a DMCA Complaint
To file a valid DMCA notice, you must provide specific information. Your notice must be in writing and include all the required elements. Email is acceptable, but make sure you include everything.
You must provide:
- Your full legal name
- Complete mailing address
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Clear description of your copyrighted work
- Specific URL where infringing material appears
- Statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized
- Statement that information is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act
- Your physical or electronic signature
Where to Send Your Notice
Email your complete DMCA notice to: dmca@granny4.app
We will confirm receipt within 24 hours and begin investigating immediately.
Filing a Counter-Notification
If we removed your content based on a DMCA claim and you believe removal was wrong, you can file a counter-notification. A counter-notification tells us you believe your content did not infringe copyright and should be restored.
Your counter-notification must include:
- Your full name, address, phone number, and email
- Description of removed material and where it appeared
- Statement under penalty of perjury that material was removed by mistake
- Consent to jurisdiction of Federal District Court
- Agreement to accept legal service from the complainant
- Your physical or electronic signature
Where to Send Counter-Notifications
Email your complete counter-notification to: dmca@granny4.app
We will review it and may restore your content if the original complainant does not file a lawsuit within 10-14 business days.
What Happens Next
When we receive a valid counter-notification, we forward it to the person who filed the original complaint. They then have 10-14 business days to notify us that they have filed a lawsuit. If they do not file a lawsuit, we may restore your content. We are not judges and cannot determine who is right in copyright disputes. We follow the DMCA process and let the parties resolve disputes through the legal system if needed.
Repeat Infringers
We take repeat copyright infringement seriously. Users who repeatedly post infringing content may lose access to our website. We track DMCA claims and counter-notifications. If someone has multiple valid claims against them, we may take permanent action.
Misrepresentation and Abuse
Making false DMCA claims is illegal and can result in legal liability. Only submit notices for content you genuinely believe infringes your copyright. Do not use DMCA notices to harass others, remove content you simply do not like, or silence criticism. If we determine someone has submitted false or abusive DMCA claims, we may ignore future claims from them and report the abuse to appropriate authorities.
Our Rights and Limitations
We are not responsible for copyright infringement committed by our users. We provide information and host user submissions, but we do not monitor all content before it appears. By following the DMCA process properly, we maintain legal protections under the law. While we generally wait for DMCA notices, we reserve the right to remove obviously infringing content without waiting for a formal complaint.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this DMCA policy to reflect legal changes or improvements to our process. When we make changes, we will update the date at the bottom of this page. Significant changes will be announced through a notice on our website.
